How do I improve my Position Score?

You improve your Position Score by finding where AI answers are hurting you most, then publishing the proof that fixes that weakness. You may need to get named more often, get recommended over rivals, explain your category more clearly, or give the model stronger evidence to trust. The Strategic AEO Plan turns that weak spot into the next page, comparison, case study, benchmark, or proof asset to ship.

Do not start with the headline 0–100 score. Start with the place you are losing: which buyer, which rival, and which AI engine. A low score on ChatGPT may need different work than a low score on Claude. A weak answer for one buyer type may not be weak for another.

Then match the weakness to the fix. If AI models rarely name you, you need clearer pages that make your category and offer easy to find. If models name you but recommend a rival, you need stronger proof: benchmarks, case studies, comparison pages, or specific capability claims. If models group you too closely with a rival, you need sharper category separation. If the answer cites weak proof, you need better sources the model can trust.

The Strategic AEO Plan does that mapping for you. It reads where your position is weak and turns it into a ranked list of work to ship next. After the proof is live, the next read shows whether your position improved.
