AI answers depend on the question and its context. A broad category question and a question from a buyer with a specific need may produce different recommendations.
A broad question can hide the important comparison
Asking for well-known companies in a category is different from asking which options fit a particular buyer need. A company appearing in the first answer does not establish that it will appear in the second.
Keep the buyer need realistic
Use the language of an actual client decision. Geography, use case, and specialization matter when they change which companies are reasonable alternatives. Adding arbitrary detail can make a comparison less useful.
Use the Market Map to organize the contexts
The map shows the markets buyers compare the company in. Select a relevant market and read standing there, with the model and date attached.
Treat an AI answer as evidence, not a customer interview
An answer can reveal how a model describes or recommends a company. It does not establish how real buyers behave or why they purchase. Use customer research alongside AI standing when making commercial decisions.
